OK, I want to paint my ride Aggie Maroon metallic.
I'm sure someone out here has found a good vehicle paint color match.
Any help?
If I go with the TAMU website brand colors, which set is correct for Automotive paint?

Ford Dark Toreador Red is a pretty good option. I used dupli-color rattle cans to paint a football helmet a few years ago.

Ford DTR like Falcon said is a great match.


Mercedes Benz has a bordeaux red that is a good match too.

Not my car below but same color. Chev Bordeaux Red. Pretty close color.

My dad just sold his 1934 Ford which was painted a Dodge maroon color which I loved. See below:

I had a 2010 F150 that was Royal Red metallic, and I thought it was a good maroon color.

+3 on sticking with original color. Would look good with fresh coat of paint. I would prefer that over below. (close as I could get)
