Been browsing for a while, and started test driving a couple of weeks ago. I'm going this weekend, and will pull the trigger on something as soon as I think it's a good buy..
That brings me to my question: I was going to go with a 2013-2014 F-150 because I figured I could get a good price on one with low mileage..
Test drove a 2013 King Ranch 4x4 with 22k miles. Dealer wanted 40,500. I told him I'd give him $35,000 for it, and he laughed at me. I'm looking at New 2015 Lariats that I could get between $40k-$42k. Saw a New 2015 GMC equivalent to a Lariat at $40,500.
The King Ranch was at a Dealer, so I went to Texas Direct Auto and offered the same $35,000 for a 2014 King Ranch with 31k. He wouldn't go under $39,000. Am I out of line thinking these things are overpriced? Older model, worse gas mileage, used with 20-30k miles on them already..
