looking like I might need to sell my truck and was hoping on any pointers on getting the most out of it. not looking to rip someone off or let it go for nothing.

it's a 2011 ram 1500 crew cab with a hemi( dodge, haha!). around 60k mostly highway miles. two minor accidents, got backed into on the bed, and the bed was replaced. also low mph rear end and got a slight dent in the tailgate fixed and a new aftermarket bumper out of that one.

should I put it on Craigslist and wait or pay for autotrader? other options. also I've seen kbb but am always a little skeptical about those prices. how do I find competitive real market value?

minor clear coat scuffs, no dents. all in all its in good condition.

mock me for buying a dodge, but also looking for some pointers too! mechanically it's in great condition.

LOL what? You call replacing the bed a "minor" accident?

I was parked in front of a friends house one night and his wife was backing out of the driveway and hit my side rear. body shop said it would be cheaper to replace the whole bed. her car was fine. that's why I said it was minor. is that major, don't want to mislead? both were low speed collisions with only cosmetic damage

Does it have a dirty Carfax? As in both accidents went to insurance? If so, I've always been told to expect a 20% hit because of it.

Did go through insurance, not sure about the carfax on it

Best way to determine the market range of the truck is to look at the actual market. Go to cars.com and auto trader and see what identical cars are going for online. You're not going to get what a dealer is asking for it though. I would look at the lower end of dealership pricing and figure you'll get a little under that of the cheapest trucks since you're selling private party.

What's the VIN on your vehicle?

VIN is 1D7RB1CT2BS548074

Will look at cars.com.

I would definitely consider both accidents minor.

Sold a Tahoe and a Mastercraft on Craigslist. If you're not in a hurry, Craigslist is great. It's free and lots of people look there. You will get the crazy low-ball people calling you though.

looked at cars.com and autotrader. dealers seem to be selling them at 23k ish and up. not private party comparables I could find.

I will definitely list on craigslist. Anyone had experience with autotrader or any of the other websites? thrifty nickel maybe

One of my old bosses had his truck posted on CL for a few weeks with almost no bites. He posted it on Autotrader and it was sold 2 days later.

No accidents are reported based on VIN provided

So a guy admits he has atleast one decent wreck and carfax has no record. Not bashing the OP but now you know the limits of Carfax. Dump it on TDA or Carmax.
