I lost my key for my trailer hitch pin. Anyone have any bright ideas how to get this off now? I am thinking of just calling the local auto repair place and seeing what they will charge to get it off unless someone has a better idea...
Use what they probably used when the b@($@$!ds stole my racecar trailer: a cheater pipe about 2' long, placed around the end where the key/combo set is. Quick snapping motion perpindicular to the hitch pin, sna[ps the locked end riht off (take a look on youtube)
I use a chainsaw wrench and a hammer. Beat flathead screwdriver into lock with the hammer, forcibly turn it. Works with a screwdriver too but the t handle on the scrench gives you leverage and it doesn't have any plastic or rubber.
This works for pretty well any key lock. Sleep well tonight.
