Looking to buy a new Sonata. The wife and I have been dealing with a dealership on the NW side of Houston but feel they may be yanking our chain when it comes to the price. Just feels like they are being a bit deceptive. Any suggestions on some Hyundai dealerships in Houston that y'all have used before or does anyone work for a dealership here in Houston? Thanks!

I made a call to them earlier and spoke to Pat Watts. He said he would put me in touch with Rod. Are they fair when in comes to negotiating or is it just the same dealership tactics?

I send an email to the "internet" department of each dealer in a 100 mile radius. Let them know the car and trim level and ask them for the "drive out" price.

Talking to them inside their dealership gives them an advantage.

Rod is pretty straight forward. He'll pull up the invoice in front of you, zero out a lot of the BS fees, and it is consistent with what shows on Edmunds or Truecar if you want to double check it.

Another poster referred me to him, and I wasn't disappointed in the way I was treated.

Had his used car mgr offered a little more on my trade I prob would have pulled the trigger.

Call Hub Hyundai Katy and ask for Octavio Cancel. Easiest car buying experience I have ever had.
