Oil changes, I told him to go to Wolf Pen Creek Car Wash.

More major work, I used to go to Aggieland Automotive. Gave good work when I was in school but I have no clue how they are now. Any suggestions?

i feel like they are overpriced but then again im a cheap arse.... I know a guy named Greg Wilson who used to have a shop by the walart on texas ave. He always did work on mine and my buddy's trucks when we'd break things while doing stupid things.

His number and email are on there. He seemed to be fair in his repair cost and didn't mark up part prices extremely high like most places do.

Superior Auto in Bryan. I think that's the name, it's Superior something. Check out the reviews online. I only went there once but was very impressed. Got it done quickly and charged me less than they quoted because it didn't take as long as they thought it would.

Tell your cousin to work on it himself if he has to.

I've used Aggieland Automotive, Superior Auto Service, and The Bug Clinic. No complaints so far. Brazos Valley Automotive is also recommended by many on mybcs.

I use aggieland automotive. I have an appointment tomorrow to get an alignment and inspection.

Brazos Valley Automotive has been solid for me. They seem like straight shooters.

stay away from Sevcik'sTexaco! That guy decided to do $3000 worth of repairs to my car that wasnt worth that much without asking me if I wanted the work.

The work was great. I just didn't authorize it. They thought they were "doing me a favor" by just doing the rpairs immediately. When I talked to the BBB, they said that they did that often with students.

I like BVA and they are on a campus bus route, which is an amazing convenience when you're a student.

I'd suggest staying away from Wolf Pen Creek for oil changes. They stripped out my oil pan drain plug and didn't tell me about it. Just put in a temporary plug. Only found out at the next oil change.

I will add another positive vote on Aggieland Automotive. I used them a few times as a student with positive results. They worked fast and did a good job at a reasonable price.

I too have heard bad stories of them taking advantage of college kids.

Growing up in CS, my family and I later on when I got out on my own used University Tire and Services on College Ave.

Sevcik's Shell near wallyworld has always been good to me.

I've used Casey's Auto for low-priced repairs. In Bryan on Texas Avenue.

Wolf Pen Creek on Harvey for oil changes is at your own risk; they are very careless. That said, their other location at Rock Prairie and Hwy 6, next to the Exxon, is run by more responsible people and I've always been pleased with their service. Car Doc on Harvey is a good group of mechanics.

The Wolf Pen on Rock Prairie has closed. Lived down the street and then moved to Conroe a couple months ago. Went back last week for the day and it was lacked up and for sale.

Wife and I have used CarDoc because that's where she's always gone. Total Car Care (formerly Aamco) is where I used to take company vehicles and are really good.

I've used Olympic Automotive for work on several vehicles. Located on E 29th near Bryan High.

Sevcik's has always been good to me and FWIW they have have always called to ask about any work that I had not already authorized.
