2004 Ford Thunderbird 95,5XX miles
Driving this morning and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. I had the Wrench light, ABS light, Traction Control light, and Check Engine line all come on. The car seemed to be running with a cylinder or two not firing as it was shaky and when letting of the peddle, the RPMs dropped and the car shuddered.
Had the codes pulled and P2106 was the only one that came back. The AZ slip reported that the "throttle actuator control system - forced limited power". The tech said that I needed to replace the throttle body/assembly as it is one large integrated electronic control system.
After checking online, it seems that there was a TSB on this. Can anyone confirm that for me? The only work that has been done to the car is replacing the coil packs back in 2007.
Any help would be appreciated.
