Texas A&M Tailgating Fire Truck

I love it!
Three questions:
1) Do any cops give you any hassle for driving a fire truck or having the lights on top?
2) Are said lights maroon? (They should be)
3) Do most other drivers get it, or do some think you're a real fire truck and pull over out of your way?

1) Cops have never given me any hassle.
2)The Lights are red, don't know where to get Maroon covers and a little scared if i try to paint them that i will screw them up royally.
3) No one gets out of my way, then again my top speed is 65 mph so no one really confuses me with a real firetruck bearing down on them.
Cars and Coffee was a good time. I ended up parking next to all the Ferrari's. Ol' Bessie was an exotic for a day.

Bummed I missed this C&C on Saturday...but we were touring the Franconia Brewery in McKinney.

You did. I had to put in a long day at the office after Cars and Coffee and just drove the ol girl straight to work after the show. You caught me on the way home.

Yeah we will be in the same spot for sure this upcoming season. It will be at all the home games.
I believe we will only be able to make one SEC road trip a year and I already have tickets to Bama, so no Grove :-(. Probably going to take it to SMU tho to show those highland park up class folks how it's done!

I have a group of about 15 headed to Oxford. Flying into Memphis, renting a 15 pass. van.

Nah I got there at 7:30 and the guys were having a hard time finding a place for me to park so I put it in spectator parking for about an hour. About 8:30 or so I was talking to some of the Cars and Coffee guys and they told me to bring it around by the Ferraris right in front of the Entrance to the dealership. Stayed there till about 10. I did get a picture of you, the King of the Rovers leaving though.

I'll probably take the sunbeam back out next time, that fits in those half spots near the coffee better than the rover.

Few things I love better than watching a fellow Ag exhibit his/her love of school. I've always been smitten with the idea of rehabbing an old bus for party purposes. My father swears I could grab a retired airport shuttle bus for next to nothing, and he claims the ride would be superior to an old school bus. I'm guessing Bessie rides pretty rough? And drinks fuel pretty fast?

With another little one on the way I see my tailgating time draining away. I would rather someone be able to enjoy this awesome vehicle at a killer deal, then it sit useless in my driveway.
