heitmiller does have a good steak. their Dale's burger is also pretty good if you take someone that doesnt want or like steak.

Okay, how about "Best 3 steaks in Waco"?

I'm looking for a new one, as I've already had all those mentioned. Personally, I think the jalapeno filet at George's blows Diamondback's away.

And, of course, if I really want a great steak I'll cook it at home myself.

Diamondback is nothing but average. If price is not an issue the steak jonathon at Northwood Inn is the best

Saying that anything from George's other than the alcohol is good is a pretty big stretch, but that's just my opinion

for the price, the chicken fried steak at george's is good. if it cost 2 bucks more, it wouldnt be so good.

They have just never really appealed to me...Well, it doesn't hurt that I can't STAND the owner, whom seems to whine anytime either a new restaurant comes to town or the City tries to pass a new regulation on items such as smoking (or when Woodway decided to vote on being Dry who was leading the pack??? him)

Well, I'm pretty picky about steak and I like the filet at George's. I also like most of their other dishes as well, and don't have a problem with anyone there.

I haven't had steak at Northwood yet, but plan to try it next time I'm in there.

Any other ideas?

Johnny's in salado is awesome. Give it a try. Their bbq and catfish is great too.

135 Prime is one of the nicer spots with a decent atmosphere and steak. It's on Hewitt and generally doesn't require a reservation. Hope that helps.
