Early is way more WT than Brownwood.

But... I only drilled in the National Guard out of Brownwood for 6 years in the 90s. Things could have changed.

Was assigned to units in Brady, San Angelo and Coleman during that time.

Llano is unique quirky and beautiful
The river is clean, parks are not crowded. Lots of places to swim, kayak, fish.
Lots of good restaurants besides Coopers and Millers
Downtown on the square is Joe's for beer burgers, live music and trivia night.
There is Gio's for amazing Italian food. The Barrel House. Bretts Biltong, The Fuel Coffee House, The Falls
Several craft breweries and wine bars. 1892 Emporium for shopping, book clubs, Mahjong. The theater has concerts and movies. Farmers markets on the square.
The music art scene is alive and authentic. Want to learn to play the cello, violin? Amazing opportunities to learn from local talent.
There is a 9 hole golf course, chuck wagon cookouts, the Leaf Festival etc So much to do in that town and it has not lost it's authenticity like Fredericksburg.
