My pop is 92 and although he's in pretty good physical shape for that age, he can't hear worth a flip (his choice, he has hearing aids, but even then not sure it would help) and he is having "sundowning" bouts, where he just goes off the rails, angry, and what I believe is mixing previous memories with current reality.
It's gotten so bad, at times my 82 yo mom is afraid. He also takes the car even though he shouldn't be driving since he lost his license due to not being able to see. I will be installing a hidden ignition rocker switch to keep that from happening in the future.
So, I need help my fellow Aggies. Any recommendations for a good doc in Waco? Or any other suggestions?
TIA!
