Need a suggestion for a cataract surgeon or opthamologist in the Temple area. My doctor retired and I'm looking for someone new. My insurance is Scott and White, so I need someone in that system.

Both the dudes I came in to recommend. Great men. Tsai may be the nicest, most genuine individual I have ever met.

Dr White is also a great dude but I don't know if he does those surgeries, as he's a bit younger than the aforementioned.

Also a note, Dr Brindley who was the head of optimitry at S&W for a long time and mentored dozens and dozens of Drs is in later stages of cancer please send prayers his way.

dr white is an optometrist (primary care, not surgery). Really any of the ophthalmologists there are excellent.

Does Dr. Templeton do surgeries?

no, he's an optometrist. morrison, knieriem, and white are optometrists. the rest are surgeons. i wanna say morgan is the only general ophthalmologist--the rest are all specialists. afaik all the surgeons do cataracts (excepting the retina guys who are totally swamped).
