How long do you want to ignore this user?
Took a job with a non compete that's very vague. I've read that they must give you something in exchange, and this just states that I get to be employed in exchange for signing it.

Looking for someone that can review it and give advice. It's just a few sentences.

Interested in this in general, was made an offer this week with similar non compete (insurance industry), still working thru details.

They're pretty difficult to enforce in general

I'll ping my lawyer sip friend about a good person to have a look at. One thing is to not take advice of somebody from Texags.

From lawyer:

"condition of employment it is not a sufficient exchange enforceable by law. "

I am not a lawyer.

I'd be interested in paying a reasonable fee for a consult if your friend has experience with non compete clauses.
