I heard that Sammons is closed. Does anyone know what is going on (temporary/permanent?)

It's the time of year for High schools to hold district golf tournaments and those are typically on Mondays. Maybe it was just closed for a HS tournament today???

Ok, I did a little digging. I guess they are going to close from May to August for new greens. I'm not sure if that means they will have temporary greens or if they will be completely closed.

They aren't closing, they will have temp greens.

Didin't they already upgrade the greens fairly recently?

A look at Google Earth shows greens were installed since 2010. Don't know why they would have failed in that time frame. Truth is, I have never enjoyed the course since the redesign and re-routing. Stonetree is so much better managed and maintained for about the same cost. It is a shame, though, for citizens of Temple.
