I am looking to build a custom home in the Crawford area soon and am on the hunt for custom home builders. Any recommendations?

Also, any one know an estimate on cost/sqft to expect when talking to custom builders (assuming modest finishes on a ~3,000sqft home)? I know these can vary. Just trying to get an idea of ranges.

I have heard good things about Alford, Cooper, Bland, Fore, Minor.

Good finishes at minimum $120. Granite, vinyl plank hardwood, etc.

Stock you're probably looking $105 minimum

Prices are probably higher now. This is based off of some friends who have built in the past year.

Anyone know anything about Barn Light Builders out of China Spring?

We're seeing prices in the 130-150 range in Woodway from custom builders. The Alfords do good work, as does Kent Garbett.
