11th and Clay in the old Krispy Chicken. A young Vietnamese girl runs it. She has fixed it up really nice. They have a nice courtyard and patio to sit...and the food is EXCELLENT. I have been going about once a week. It's right near Kate Ross, but close enough to the Silos that I think they are drawing from that crowd. I had the best shrimp po boy in there the other day, and have had their jambalaya and gumbo which I thought were both very good. Something like this has been lacking in Waco for a LONG time....much like great BBQ (until recently).

Have you tried Friday's in Bellmead? Being from Coon-ass territory, it's suited my needs for Cajun just fine, but it is certainly different from this place. Friday's is a little shak type place.

We'll have to try this place out though.
