Yep. They put a display ad in Sunday's paper saying they are closed and thank you for the patronage. Never ate there. Nothing lasts long in that location it seems.

I ate there once. Food was good, but thought prices were a little high. Décor was strange for a place trying to be upper end.

Actually the original Catfish King was there for years. It is since it closed that places have had short term success.

My grandfather loved catfish king. That was before Applebee's, chilis and all the other chain restaurants closer to 35. The location for me is out of the way, and I just don't think about going to eat that far down the loop.

The problem with the chains is that all of them have almost identical food and none of it is very interesting.

Now for Catfish I go to Pea Ridge, and that is not even close to the loop.

It is just the best catfish I have found in town.
