Someone knocked my mail box over. I need a new one and need it installed. Just talked to home depot on the phone, they sell but won't install and they were pretty ugly about it. Snippy girl said to call to better business bureau when I asked who they would recommend then.

Wow. That girl needs to be turned in to management. That was uncalled for.

I would think any handyman could do this. I'll bet you could even get one to buy one for you and install it.

Did you call Lowe's? I can ask around school and see what people say (I have a friend who has a handyman on speeddial).

Lowes was at least nice. Said they do not install and do not know anyone that does, but said they were sorry they could not help me. I am willing to pay someone to do it, but I can't do it for myself, especially right now. If you can find someone Jan I really appreciate it.

She didn't have another answer other than Lowe's, but I"ll keep asking around. I know lots of people.

What kind of mailbox? Is it just a post you need concreted in? Or is it a brick mailbox? Maybe I could help. Are you in Waco/Hewitt?

temple. Need new post and cemented or one of those new streamlined allin one things. I was willing to buy everything new to get some place to install.

A friend of mine recommended jack of all Trades. He apparently gave me the guys card months ago, but I've lost it. He highly recommended him, but he might be in the phone book.

I have a friend looking for a handyman in the Temple area too. General home maintenance/fix-up.

I finally asked my brother for help. He is not healthy enough to do this, but he has a man who works for them part time. The man is more of a mechanic than a handiman. My brother is in the "business/hobby" of restoring classic cars. But he (his helper) is young and strong and as of yesterday I have a new mailbox.

Sounds like there is a shortage of handiman types in Temple.
