My son and his fiance are looking for a place to have a wedding and a reception. They want to keep the expenses low and have food catered by Rudy's or something similar. About 30 to 40 guests. Any recommendations? Thanks

Miss Nellie's pretty place is fabulous for a small garden wedding but in summer it can be brutal unless at sundown(Waco Cameron Park area)

Carleen Bright Arboretum for either an indoor or outdoor wedding(Woodway)

Lion's Club rents out their facility and it is large enough you could do one area for the ceremony and have the reception/meal over closer to the kitchen.(Waco)

VFW hall in Hewitt is available for rental

Bellmead Civic Center is available for rental
