I did make it out today. The wind was not cooperating much and the river was way down as expected. I caught two and had two get away from me right at the bank. Surprisingly, there were quite a few people out there today for a Tuesday. We went further upstream than everyone else and found a nice, deep hole. There were fish jumping all over the place, so I know they are there. With less winds and a little warmer temps they will be biting like crazy!
On a side note, spending the day on the banks of the river with beautiful weather and no cell phone and only catching a couple of fish, beat the hell outta work! I plan to try and get out there again next week and give it another go!
