Plan to just hang out by a nice pool and drink with a friend.

However, if it is rainy what is there do in Galveston? No Moody Gardens suggestions please.

I think the chances of rain go way down by the end of this week, into this weekend. Not to mention, compared to the rest of the state (and even compared to Houston), we've gotten very little rain in the past month. So I wouldn't worry too much about it.
