Anyone know of any beekeepers in the Beaumont area. We just found a hive and I am guessing around 30 - 50 bees that really didn't even flinch at the bee spray we have.

contact the local A&M research facility on 90 - they should be able to help.

Thanks they gave me the number for the jefferson county ext. and they gave me the number to some local beekeepers. I called the first one and he wanted almost $300 to come out and take care of them. Said since we tried to spray them already they cant be used to make honey in his environment but he would take care of them. For that we can call an exterminator and still have money left over for bbq and beer. Still waiting to hear back from the other guys.

Law & FS91, not related to bees, but who else post on TexAgs that is around Beaumont that you know of? I don't look at this forum much. Just curious what the Beaumont presence is on these forums.

There is probably 10-15 people from beaumont that post on all the boards.
