I've been in town all week working and visiting family. I visited the corner of Saratoga and Staples while I was here. Just down the road I saw the site of a Taco Bueno. I had no idea that Taco Buenos had made it this far down.

The building looked about complete, should be opening soon. It's good stuff if you compare it to Taco Bell. It's not Mexican food, but it's a good choice if you're hankering for fast food. Glad to see Bueno in the area.

Mmmmmmm, I love Taco Bueno. I wish we had one here in Galveston.

I noticed that the other day, too, and i just live down the street off Saratoga. I've never actually been to a Taco Bueno.

I just found out I have a friend moving to Corpus and she'll live right across the street from Taco Bueno.

I ate at Taco Bueno in Corpus and it was the first time I've ever eaten at a Taco Bueno and it was fantastic. The food was excellent, the people were friendly, and I got my food faster than I would've at any other place. I was impressed and I will definitely be going back soon.

Is this the same Taco Bueno chain from (at least) the late 70s? Used to have one back in the day that we went to all the time. Great stuff. Or is this a "new" Taco Bueno?

AG, it pry is. This Taco Bueno was founded in 1968

they had one on campus at the underground on Northside.....selection there tasted exactly like Taco Bell....sure it wasn't fill menu....

Bueno tastes nothing like Taco Bell. The ingredients are much more fresh.

There used to be Taco Bueno in Pasadena but it's been shut down for years. Wasn't a whole lot different from Taco Bell. Maybe this is a resurrected form under new management?

I was up in Dallas a few weeks ago and got turned on to Taco Delite. I thought it was the best out of all the mexi-fast foods.

When I go to Dallas I see more Taco Buenos than Taco bells.

I ate at Taco Bueno yesterday and it was terrific as always. It's so much more cleaner and the food tastes better than at Taco Cabana and especially Taco Bell.

as cheap as the Bell? If the quality isn't great better to go to a dive taqueria, no?
