Haven't lived there in awhile, but will be down soon. Where does the 30-ish crowd hangout at night?

21 for the older crowd, but i've always headed over to the old cellar bar or o'malleys to get away from the kids. stop by the bar at paco's to see what is happening as well.

Same as it ever was...Yagas for live music and a packed house, Molly's and O'Malley's for the laid back scene.

Like Tamug said, have a glass of wine with Paco and feel out the vibe. You can always go across the street to 21. They usually have a good band and a 30/40 something crowd.

If you want a chicken fried steak go across the street to the Stork Club and belly up to the bar. Some of the locals call the Stork Club the fish bowl because of all the windows. You can get some grub and follow a pack of hotties to the next bar!

You wont escape the undergrads at Mollys and Old cellar although they arent there as much as Buskers (Sp?) but its definitely better in the summer after school lets out,
21 or Yagas would definitely suit you best.

toucans was fun when ed and janette had it....and when they were out running the streets having fun.

and i'll second the poop deck......great spot to people watch...escecially on a holiday weekend.

After that, swing by The Wizard. I shouldn't knock the place because I've known Linda my whole life and my uncle and dad cruise through there occasionally. It's the type of place you go when you want to completely cut loose. Everyone, including the bartender, will be just as smashed as you.

Toucans was never the same after Ed and Janette left. That place would be packed for power hour. Then people would scatter around, usually Yaga's, for a while. Then head back around midnight or so. I cut my foosball teeth in that joint.

Toucan's is the only bar I've ever been kicked out of and I was a regular there. Some drunk jacka$$ Coastie was trying to hit on my girlfriend (now wife) when I went to the bathroom. What was the owners' sons name? His wife was Grace.
