Sadly for Rockport, Shempy's Grill is CLOSED!!

Been closed for quite a while. If y'all haven't tried it, check out Nemo's right in front of Walmart in Rockport. We have tried several items and all have been real good. (As an Aggie, don't pay attention to their glasses they serve serve their drinks in)
Nothing stays the same. Family owned joints go when they can't keep it up and the kids don't want it.
We've lost:
Barkett's in Seadrift
Red Snapper Inn in Surfside.
Moby Dicks in Port A (loved it for breakfast)
Shempey's
And I hear the Lighthouse Inn in Fulton is in trouble.

Never actually eaten at Lighthouse Inn (The Palm). I guess it's good then?Fins Up! said:

I thought so. And the hotel is nice also.
