Any decent places to eat from about 1-3 Tuesday afternoon within 20 minutes of Texas City Proper? Coming south down I-45 from Houston but Texas City would be fine as that's an old home town of some of us but it's been decades.

Pier 6 is pretty close.
Most of the stuff on the island is within 20 minutes of Toxic City. No. 13 is close.
Marais in Dickinson, but they might not be open for lunch.
Slate is about 96 and 45 and is new and supposed to be good.
Rigos in old Toxic City was good, then you could drive the dike with the rest of your time.
Now that 146 is better, anything in Kemah is in play too. Bakkus is great.
That should be enough to get you started.
