Howdy, multi generation Native Texan. At 75 I do not recall it ever being this hot this continuously! Our grass is dying, no rain. We can hardly go outside, gotta be in by 10 or so, going to the HEB here in Rockport, ya gotta go early or die trying to get groceries out and then in house. I have never experienced this kind of HEAT in Texas.

August has been a little hot but overall it's a hell of a lot better here than Dallas. But that's my recent frame of reference. I can sit outside in Rockport in the shade during the day or anywhere as soon as the sun drops with zero issues. Fairly comfortable.

Couldn't remotely do that in Dallas.
