Hey Ags,
I was hoping someone on here might be or know a fishing guide in the Port Aransas area. I'm looking to do a 1/2 or full day day guided kayak fishing trip. I already have my kayaks and most of my gear so really i just need a licenced guide who knows the area. I'd like to use an Aggie first for obvious reasons but if that can't be arranged then anybody who can give me a good price is okay by me.

I have two weekends i can do it on; January 16/17 or January 23/24. If you know of anybody or you are a fishing guide please private message me or just reply to this topic with your contact info!

Thanks and Gig'em!

Slowride is the best choice in the area. slowrideguide.com

But, that at time of the year there isn't much sense to fishing out of a kayak if you're hiring a guide. The water will be too cold on the flats for game fish to be up there then. You'll be sitting off the edges of the flats working the drains where the game fish are sitting below the cold layer to ambush the bait fish as they come off the flats.

If you're new to kayak fishing you might consider Slowride's kayak fishing school. http://www.texaskayakfishingschool.com/
