How much are you looking to spend and how long do you plan to be out there? How many people? I know an Ag on the west side of the island who can put you in the bay for pretty cheap, but he's not a good fisherman at all.

This guy is a horrible fisherman, but for 400 bucks he'll put you in the bay with an ice chest full of cold beer and a center console stuffed with back issues of Hustler magazine from the 80's.

Bob's a good guy and a good fisherman. And he is in your price range. He launched out of April Fool's Point before Ike - not sure where he launches now.

I know the people at Galveston Party Boats. They do offshore trips, but you can trust them to point you in the right direction if mom's advice doesn't work out.
