Anyone have any ideas on where to get the best Mexican food on South Padre/Port Isabel?

I would be interested in any other good places to eat here, especially seafood. And please don't say Amberjacks because I will be quite disappointed if that's as good as it gets here.

At one time, The Lost Gallion was good.

Last summer I ate at a place that was fair, it was connected to the Super 8 hotel.

Can't recommend any local "dives" though. They would probably be best.

Jessie's Cantina on the main drag. Best carnitas in South Texas and the fajitas and beans are good too.

Fall92, we discovered that place on our first night there. It was the best meal we had all week.

Flash02, Isabel's was a hit with the family as well. Thanks for the tip.

Good deal Rock. We've been going there since I was a kid in the 80's and I brought my own kids there last year for the first time. Jesse sat down with our 3 generations and bought me and my dad a drink. Good times.
