I always assumed you went to Consol for some reason...

I was forced to move to College Staion my senior year of high school, and so I graduated from Consol. I hated almost every minute of it and I was severly depressed come graduation. The few friends I made that year tried to cheer me up at the graduation party in the MSC basement, but I just could not get into the swing of things. So yes, I did go to Consol but only the 1983-84 school year. I have never gotten over my depression and to this day I still miss Carroll High School- the place I SHOULD have graduated from.

So why do you want to move back to College Station then if it was a bad time for you when you live there before?

Oh CS finally grew on me- the people are very friendly and our neighborhood s really nice on Durango Court. But mainly I just wanna get away from tennessee- I want to get back to a place where people know how to use the english language and do not have these horrendous TN accents. Every time I hear someone say "Ah done gone" somewhere or "Ah knowed" this I just want to hit them. My english teacheres would be rolling their eyes if they heard such bad use of our language. And the weather here can be TERRIBLE- just look at the Good Friday tornado that came within 5 miles of our house! I know CS has tornadoes but not nearly as often as the whole state of TN. Bad weather/tornadoes happen every month of the year here!

So you went to Carroll your junior year and Consol your senior year. Where did you go your freshman and sophomore years?

employed aggie- freshman year I went to Tom Browne Jr. High. Sophomore and Junior years at Carroll and Sr year at Conslopidated.

I love Carroll, but the horrible thing is we get a new principal every two years because they always get a better offer. Carroll is just a stepping stone for them. Go Tigers!

Anyone from the 84 class still residing in Corpus that can see this, the reunion will be the weekend of July 24. Details are at classmates.com but I think Joyce said it will held at some ice house...
