Anybody or maybe your parents or something have any stories of seeing Janis Joplin or knowing her in Port Arthur way back then? Just curious.

i hear she showed up to school naked with only a coat one time. probably a rumor.

there is also supposedly a seashell hut which she use to get high at. it is by the seawall in PA, and you have to go down a very long driveway and then walk to get to it. we tried going one time, but somebody was eerily staring out of the window of a nearby garage apt. when we got out of the car, so we decided against walking around in the middle of the night. supposedly there is a lot of signatures, etc., including hers.

My dad went to high school with Guy Clark in Rcokport. Bout as close as I can get.

I think Jimmy Johnson and Janis were in the same graduating class

I know this guy whose dad went to HS w/ Guy Clark and we used to listen to Billy Joel albums.
