On entergy's website they just posted the first round of estimated dates for power restoration by city. I'm interested in Liberty, but did not see it. They have Dayton and Ames grouped together as 9/25, so I hope Liberty is in that power grid.

From looking at Entergy's map, Liberty is in the Dayton, etc. section. I know the old Gulf States (pre-Entergy) office that served Liberty was located in Dayton.

Hope their dates are accurate. That sounds a lot better than the 4-6 weeks that had been tossed about earlier.

CRAP.

I just took a generator and as much ice and gas as I could fit in my truck to my mom in Cleveland.

I was hoping it would be sooner than that.

The commercial strip along highway 90 in Dayton should have power within the next few hours, which was reported KSHN 99.99. There are a few stores there that already have power.

I hope those estimates are worst case.

Well, if it makes you feel better the estimates are for 100% restoration. It could be the case that there are pockets of Cleveland that are hard to get to, but other areas that could be brought on line sooner. The Entergy Rep on KSHN said that Dayton residents could be up as early as 9/22 instead of 9/25. Also, I noticed Arkansas is almost 100% and Louisiana is 88%, so hopefully they can send the workers from there to TX to help speed things up.

It is encouraging that a fair bit of the Woodlands has power now vs the 9/25 projection for 100% restoration.

On the 39 news last night, they updated and said Cleveland would have power by 9/25 instead of the 10/5 on the Entergy page.

I guess things are going better than expected. Good.

I guess they are going a lot better than expected in Cleveland. Hopefully this trend continues for everywhere else.
