I have a house on 47th an R and I've heard that no water got in the houses in that area. It's second hand information, but it's what I'm banking on right now.

Any word on Jamacia Beach yet?

The intersection of 3005 and Bob Smith is in the middle of this picture. It looks like Jamaica Beach survived with little damage. All the structures on the beach-side of 3005 appear to still be standing. The beach looks like it has eroded about 100 feet.

Drove by Campache Cove yesterday to check on a friends place. It looks ok. No major damage that I could see

I'll be heading to Galveston this tonight to help my family with cleanup and such. Just wondering what it will look like compared to the pictures we've seen.
