Do they spray for these pesky things in Galveston? I can't even walk my dog with out getting attacked. Between the rain and the vampires, she hasn't gotten to play outside in nearly a week.

Last summer it seemed like I heard those mosquito trucks driving by spraying at night every now and then. This summer I have not. It may be because up until the past couple of weeks, with all the rain, we weren't having a mosquito problem. But I agree, they've gotten really bad this past week.

Yes-airplanes and trucks.
I think they are run by the county who sets the locations they spray.

They've started. They have a certain amount of spray I think. I seem to remember last year that they ran out, so they may be going sparingly at first.

Galveston County spray maps. They supposedly sprayed my area yesterday. I'd never know it.

The mosquitoes are awful in Corpus. I think they have mutated to super intelligent mosquitoes because they actually ambush me by waiting by the door at work for people to come... The little suckers get a feast because it takes a little while to get the door unlocked and then locked back again (we have to lock it from the outside while holding it open before we can go in) and my hands are busy with the lock so I can't swat them away. It's like a buffet for the mosquitoes and there's a whole swarm of them just waiting every morning by the door!

I hate them!!!

you dont know galveston mosquitos until you head over the bridge to Pelican.

you wouldnt believe it if you saw it....
