Orphan's(I have been reading his posts for so long and for some reason I call him OrphanAg) daughter Missy Jones was severely injured in an accident in Mexico involving Beaumont area educators.

Fundraiser for Missy Jones

There will be a barbecue fundraiser held on Thursday, June 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Kroger on Sixteenth Street to benefit Missy Jones, one of the LCM educators who was injured in a wreck in Mexico recently. The $8.00 plate includes a quarter chicken, three links, potato salad, baked beans, and bread. Order forms for offices and groups may be downloaded from the LCM website at www.lcmcisd.org, or more information obtained by calling the LCM Central Office at 670-4629. Delivery is available for prepaid orders of 15 or more.

Volunteers Needed to work the barbecue

A planning session for volunteers to help with the barbecue will be held in the Little Cypress Elementary cafeteria on Thursday, June 19, at 6:00 p.m. If you would like to help, but can't make the meeting call the number above.

The Missy Jones' Community Support Group has established a fund to help Missy and her family during this time of great need.

for those that might not know, Orphan is a Texags poster who goes back to the earliest days of the forums, an old Ag, and a great guy.

Any help for his family and any prayers for his daughter I know will be greatly appreciated.
