Howdy, I graduated in December with my degree in Rangeland Ecology and Management (RLEM). I am looking for a job in the environmental consulting field but open to wildlife/ecology conservation and restoration in the El Campo/Wharton/Columbus/Garwood(you get the idea) area.

My soon-to-be-fiance and I are planning to move back to her hometown (El Campo) after she graduates in May. We both currently work at Academy in College Station but are looking for jobs in the El Campo area.

Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

You may check into the Texas Bol Weavil Eradication whatever it's called. They seem to always be hiring, sometimes even managers. I think it might be a crappy job, but maybe somewhere to work until you can find something else.

Oh, and......Haha....your wife's making to move to El Campo. That's why I'm here. No complaints.

The Boll Weevil stuff isn't a bad idea. I had a friend who did that out of college, so they have entry level work.

What about something like Ducks Unlimited? They have their office in Richmond, but they obviously do a lot of work in Wharton Co.

Not a lot of opportunities in environmental consulting in El Campo.

I looked into the boll weevil thing, but one of the requirements is at least 2 years of experience in the cotton field, which I do not have....
