My wife's parents have heard a rumor that there is low income HUD housing comeing to Whitehouse, TX. Anybody else in the area heard anything?

There's already HUD apts at the corner of Shiloh and 110 (in WISD). However, my wife (teaches at WISD) has not heard of any HUD housing/apts coming in to the City of Whitehouse.
Yeah, its called Waterton subdivision.

We just got some new low income apartments in Palestine. Just what we need. They look nice now but I give it about 1 year before they look like a ***t hole.
isn't all of whitehouse low income? (with the exception of the houses on the lake?)

I thought from your postings you were pretty knowledgable. I almost purchased a lot in Stonegate a few years ago. I can't believe WISD gets that area over TISD.
Yea, no joke. Whitehouse is going to be in a bind when they lose that land to Tyler.
