I have to be at a wedding for the OU weekend in Sulpher Springs.

Assuming it's a 2:30 kickoff...where would I watch the game at? Hotel bar? Or is there somewhere else?

My brother lives there now.

Anyway, your best bet is probably the Chili's on I30. SS is dry and that is about the only place there that serves alcohol, will have a decent tv and you won't get raped by a local.

My fiance is from Sulphur Springs. I thank God every time I go visit her that we are not going to live there. Sulphur Springs actually might be one of the worst places to live. Ever.

...oh my gosh... I was in Sulphur Springs this last weekend and was at the Wal-Mart, and it reeked like cows. Only 22 days until I save my future wife from the "Dairy Capital of Texas"

Yes, Sulphur Springs sucks huge balls. I haven't been in a few years.

They have a great Tex-Mex place called TaMolly's. They won't have a tv but I recommend it if you have to stay in town for an extended period.

I can vouch for TaMolly's too.

If you really wanna feel separated from the modern world drive south on Hwy 154 past Lake Fork until you get to Quitman. I gotta give them credit though....the last few times I've gone to visit my parent's I've noticed signs of them catching up with the modern world... they have a Subway now and everything.

Nope, definitely Quitman. I interviewed(w/ the help of my mom) her father for a 3rd grade project. We had to pick a movie star and do a bio on them or something like that.

I ate ate the Whataburger last Thursday night off I-30 and it was good. Attentive staff and updated restaurant. Marshall isn't much of anything, except Applebees and I hate that chain.

haha... I ate at that Whataburger the night before I got married. Sulphur Springs is quite the place for a batchelor party!
