Grew up there.

I love it and wish I could go back. If you like the outdoors, it's nice. Downtown has really been improved over the last 7 or 8 years.

Get involved with some social/local clubs. Rotary, Kiwanis, etc. If you don't, there isn't much orgamic local entertainment.

Nac doesn't change. It's oil and gas, poultry, timber and sfa. You get all the weather; heat, humidity, big storms, cold, hurricanes.

The one thing that really sucks is the grocery store situation. There's no heb and kroger/Brookshires are underwhelming.
