Never been to or heard much about Paris, TX and now there is a job opportunity I might be interested in there. What can y'all tell me about good ole Paris, TX and the surrounding area? I'd be able to live anywhere in Lamar or Red River County.
Nothing wrong with the job I have now or where we currently live. This would be a step up the ladder but based off what I've heard of that area I'll stay put. There are always more opportunities with my company.
My hometown. I have not lived there since I was 17 (2002).
If the job opp is Kimberly-Clark and you're in manufacturing, I would guess that's a pretty good career opportunity. Can't think of any other reason to move there.
Paris is good if you:
- Already have a family
- Like all things small town: Dairy Queen, HS Football, Pancake breakfast fundraisers
- LIke huntin', fishin', muddin', drinkin' a cold beer... ya'll.
If none of that sounds like you - I would look elsewhere.
