The Mount Pleasant QB threw 9 TD passes this weekend! Tying him for 2nd all time in the state of Texas (all time record is 10).

They scored 77 points in the win over Terrell and neither team scored in the 4th qt. That's wild.

Yeah...he had 3 of the TD's I believe.

He's gotten some looks I believe but mostly smaller schools. Keith T says he can get him on at SMU (you know Keith....he has the whole recruiting thing nailed down now... ) but I'm not sure.

He wants to play baseball at the next level, but he's not in baseball year round like most of the guys that will play college ball are. So I think that hurts him. I think football is probably his best sport and he could make a go of it as a solid possession receiver in an offense like June Jones has at SMU. Or at ACU, SFA, etc. Something along those lines. He's got good straight away speed and great hands, but not the quickness and acceleration that it would take to play at the top level. At least that's how I read it.

But of course, I thought/think KD is crazy overrated....so what do I know.

I'd take him over KD bc of the attitude issues!!
