Did Mike Pile Mazda in Tyler go out of business? I drove by there Friday and noticed that the lot was void of any cars and there was what looked like yellow crime scene ribbon wrapped around the building that also looked vacant. Anybody got the lowdown?

According to Mazda website, there are two Mazda dealers within 50 mile radius of area code 75701; Fenton Motors & Gorman-McCraken. I would be surprised if the BMW dealership folded too.

Well, I don't get to Tyler very often, but I did notice on the last trip that a Mazda sign has gone up in front of Fenton Motors, which, to the best of my knowledge, used to be solely a used car dealership. So Mike Pile Mazda is definitely kaput. I bought a Mazda from them about four years ago--I was pleased with the experience so I am disappointed that they are no more.

Fenton motors (Large group) bought the Mazda place and are opening the Mitsibushi dealer too. They have temp buildings until they get one built of refurnished. they bought out Brew Honda too, I think.

Is Fenton just owned by Lance? Or Lance's dad? Or another member of the family?

Do not know much about them--they have stores in metroplex and Oklahoma--so I guess , a pretty big outfit?

I am seeing Manziel's dad as GM of the Tyler Fenton group on TV?

Saw that too, guess they left Kerrville?
