Howdy Ags,
Just wanted to put this out there in case there were any golfers interested. We just had a few teams open up on our sold out event.
Wednesday, October 17, 2012 is the 22nd Annual Swing with the Legends Major League Baseball Players Alumni Golf Tournament.
It’s a noon shotgun start at Woodhaven Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas (off of I-30 between Ft. Worth and Arlington). The groups consist of 5 people, 1 MLB former or current player, and 4 other golfers. This also includes lunch, dinner, range balls, gift packs, and prizes for the top teams. There is also a live and silent auction following golf full of autographed sports memorabilia.
There’s still time to sign up as an individual, silver, gold, or title sponsor. This is a 501c3 charitable organization, and is tax deductible
For more information, the website is http://golfmlbpaa.com. You can see more details on the entry types as well as past MLB players that have participated.
You can also contact me directly with any questions.
