Howdy...I'm starting a Harrison County Aggie Club here in the Marshall area. Even if you don't live in the area but think you might like to receive Aggie related news and information let me know. I usually try to send out a newsletter with Aggie news from the area once every couple months. Whether its the Singing Cadets coming to town, an area HS athlete becoming an Aggie, or something else...I try to keep east Texans in the loop.

Here's a tip from the unofficial UNCERTAIN A&M CLUB.

Always have a keg or two of beer (and cups) with ah contribution jug nearby.

Good lighted-hearted speaker, 20 minutes max. Interaction with membership. Let everyone have something to say.

Set a calendar. Always announce an impending events.

Oh, VZ Co would have to actually have a meeting to get there.

EastTexas, Great first post for me to read on the East Texas Board. I will be relocating to Marshall on 5-Mar-12. Carter, I didn't know you were from VZ CO. Fruitvale High School Class of 2000 here. Sounds like we have enough for a texags supper some time in March.

Tyler-Smith County does a good job but I live in Lindale and cant always make it to the events in Tyler. Canton is just as close if not closer than the South side of Tyler so it would be nice to link up with the VZ club but there are never any updates on events from them.
