Bernard's in Tyler. best seafood, lamb, and veal in town by a mile.

but Jake's on the Square is really good, better than Bernard's for me right now.

Jakes gets its food from Sams
It is a little drive from Longview, but we live in Lindale and go to Four Winds Steakhouse
Barron's is pretty damn good. It's in the corner of the strip center at Loop 281 and McCann St. Next to Hasting's if that is still there.
The only other option I can think of is Tyler Street Bistro downtown. However, I've heard Gerald (owner and chef) is a little off his game lately.
