I've never been to this event before, but I'm thinking about taking the in-laws and wife this year.

Have any of you ever been to this event? Is it worth going to? Is the balloon glow the best thing to see?

I used to go all the time as a kid. The best is the balloon glow. The bands are sometimes good and they usually have old war planes or vintage cars to check out.

Always hot as hell, too many hillbillies, bad concessions. Good bands though. I hope you skipped. If you went at all I hope you only did the balloon glow and blew off everything else.
