My brother just got a membership there through work. In the 16 years since our family moved to the Tyler area, neither one of us has ever played there.

What can you guys tell me about the course? It looks great from what you can see driving down Grande and from what I remember the few times I have driven through the neighborhood.

Are any of you members there?

My family has a membershipe there, and I have played on it for several years while growing up.
#1 - great elevated tee
#2 - straight shot
#3 - plays a little long on the dogleg
#4 - easy par 3 over a little water, plays a little short
#5 - stay out of the trees on the right
#6 - plays very long, green is elevated
#7 - easy dog leg to the left with water on the right
#8 - par 3 with chipping area infront but that area is 6 feet below green
#9 - dog leg to right, water on left and houses on both sides (don't break a window)
#10 - great elevated tee
#11 - par 3 and plays true to yardage
#12 - great elevated tee, water on left
#13 - par 3 over water, plays long
#14 - long par 5 with water on left
#15 - easy
#16 - extremely elevated tee
#17 - par 4 that plays a little long, green is elevated from tee (hole goes up hill)
#18 - easy par 4

18 is easy if you dont hit the long 10 foot deep trap on the right!

I hear the golf is nice. I wouldn't get caught up with the VERY shallow, materialistic, socially motivated crowd in Hollytree. Those people amaze me. But hey, I'm not into country clubs or the people that are a part of them.

I'm sure I'll embarrass the regulars there when I get to play there this spring. My brother and I are definitely not the typical CC'er.
