If anybody is looking for a fun family activity, please check out my parents' farm in Tyler. Pappy's Pumpkin Patch is open every Friday and Saturday in October from 10am til dusk. Admission is free and includes a Hay Maze, Barrel Train (there's even an Aggie barrel this year-WHOOP!!), playground equipment and picnic area. All they ask is you buy a pumpkin (or two) to support the farm. Snacks and souvenirs are also available.

Took my 1.5 year old last year and really enjoyed it - very relaxing and your folks couldn't be any nicer.

We will definitely be returning again this year and are looking forward to it!
