When looking at a photographer, don't let them just show you a portfolio, make sure you see an entire wedding's pictures. That will give you a much better idea of their talent and the product they will deliver. Anyone can get a couple of great pictures out of the thousands they will probably shoot at a wedding. But few will deliver lots of high quality photos from the entire day.
